The Fourth Hospitality payroll bureau has been operational for 4 years and within that time has grown significantly. The team are professional, dedicated, accurate and efficient and can be relied upon to fulfil their payroll obligations on-time every-time. Office location
The bureau is located in serviced offices based in Macclesfield, Cheshire.
Employees
All candidates must pass a payroll test before they are offered a position and must also come with at least 2 years experience within the payroll profession. A payroll qualification such as the IPP is also beneficial for any candidate wishing to be employed by Fourth Hospitality Payroll Bureau.
Confidentiality and Confidentiality agreements
Working in such a confidential environment calls for all staff to sign a confidentiality agreement. These are also signed by any visitors to the bureau.
Disaster recovery
There are disaster recovery plans operational for any unforeseen circumstances that may take place in the bureau. This includes secondary printers, sealers, networks and BACS facilities.
BACS security 4 steps
BACS security is paramount within the bureau and only nominated staff are allowed to transmit the BACS files. The 4 step process involves the following:
- Validation - to ensure that the figures due to be transferred match the BACS total from each pay-run as well as confirming entry date.
- Authorisation - to authorise the file for payment
- Sign - to sign the payment using the unique identifier
- Submit - to submit the file for payment
Payroll audit
Payroll audits are undertaken by the bureau on all clients systems on a regular basis. These audits are designed to ensure that each client is constantly maximising the system settings available to them.
Online payroll approval
Online payroll approval is whereby the client authorises the payroll for processing online. This reduces any security risks connected to email authorisation and enables a full audit trail of what was done and when.
Industrial shredding
The Fourth Hospitality bureau uses the services of an external shredding company to dispose of the confidential waste. The shredding is undertaken on site and a certificate of disposal is issued after each visit.
